Sweet corn and rubbing alcohol assault the nose, though this is a mellower example of unaged distillate than is usual. As one expects from unaged product, the palate is pretty one-dimensional, with lots more corn and black pepper, with the faintest hint of fruit in the background. As with the nose, it's mellower than the average unaged whiskey, thanks to the charcoal filtering taming the raw alcohol flavor, but has little to offer beyond that. Interesting as a taste or perhaps in cocktails
