From a single vineyard in the village of Lugny, the characteristics of this muscated variety of Chardonnay and a slight spiciness to the finish make this unique amongst the Maconnais wines. Cave de Lugny are justifiably proud of 'Les Charmes', the 100% Chardonnay grapes harvested from a specific plot in the Commune de Lugny. Aromas are a riot of white flowers, peach and apricot with a hint of hazelnut. Rich and full-bodied flavours are beautifully balanced between acidity and a fresh sweetness and spiciness to the finish.
